The MSU employs over 300 students in various capacities over the course of a year. New job postings are listed on the website and the MSU Listserv. To be eligible for employment in the MSU, a student must carry a course load of at least 18 units, with the exception of the Board of Directors and Silhouette Executive Editor.

You can view all current job listings on the right hand side of the page. To apply for a position, simply click the desired link. If you have not created a profile with us, you will be prompted to create an account. Once complete, you can log into your account and view any job listing, or upload your resume online to apply for any position(s).

This site will also list descriptions for more formalized volunteer opportunities. Please note that wages and job descriptions are frequently updated, and students should call the appropriate department or service to ensure accuracy of the information contained on these pages.

Volunteer Positions

Volunteering can be one of the best ways to get experience and improve your resume. The MSU offers a variety of volunteer opportunities which grow every year. Some groups require a consistent commitment, and some are available for those with uncertain schedules.
