SWHAT News:
Download Swhat Videos! We have had over 1000 walks since September! We operate from 7pm - 1am, 7 days a week. We will walk you anywhere within a 30 minutes radius from campus. See our map for exact details! "Students on Patrol" program is now in operation. This program puts SWHAT teams out in the community when there are no walks requested. If you see a SWHAT team passing by feel free to ask us for a walk. SWHAT Bus Service. SWHAT will board the bus with you going towards downtown as far as Main and Hughson. We will then walk fifteen minutes off the bus route with you to make sure you get where you are going safely. For more infomation visit the Bus Service page.

Fill out the volunteer application! Then hand it in at the SWHAT office or send it to the SWHAT Coordinator at swhat@msu.mcmaster.ca.

S’what is SWHAT?
Volunteer teams of one male and one female provide safe, friendly accompaniment for any member of the McMaster community (students, staff, faculty, visitors, etc?) who calls in for a walk. If you are taking the bus, SWHAT will walk you to and from BUS STOPS and will wait with you until you get on board! SWHAT will also ride the bus with you as far as the downtown centre (Main and Hughson) and walk you fifteen minutes off the bus route. We are open between dusk to 12:30am for off campus walks (for walks over 30 minutes away from campus) and dusk to 1:00 am for on campus walks, 7 days a week during the September - April school year (excluding student holidays, and when the University is closed).
