Registration is now open for MSU Policy Conference on Saturday November 12

The MSU will be holding it’s first ever Policy Conference on Saturday November 12 as a way for students to be more involved in the MSU’s policy work. This is an opportunity for students to provide their perspective and feedback on policies for the topics of Sexual and Gender Diversity, International Students, and Ancillary Fees. Delegate registration is free and is now open here.

Nomination period for SRA by-election and five referenda closes Oct 27

The nomination period for five referenda as well as the SRA by-election are now open, and will run from October 20th until October 27th at 5pm. The referenda questions include two concerncing the Marmor Yearbook, as well as the potential additions of an Exclusive Club Card membership and SoBi bike share membership. Finally, there will be an MSU Constitutional Referendum (VP at-large elections).

MSU Peer Support Line is available via talk or text seven days a week

Advice, support, and a listening ear; these are some of the invaluable services that the MSU Peer Support Line provides to McMaster students. This anonymous and confidential phone line and chat service operates seven days a week during night hours, providing access to trained student volunteers who are available to listen without judgment, offer emotional support, and recommend on-campus and off-campus resources that may be helpful to you.
