McMaster MakeBelieve

Imagination is the greatest medicine.

McMaster MakeBelieve is a volunteer-based club that exists to help disadvantaged children and at-risk-youth deal with childhood challenges by developing their creativity, leadership and emotional maturity through empowering writing, drama, dance, music, art and athletics workshops.

Childhood challenges include family conflict, illness, anxiety, self-esteem issues, bullying, stereotyping, peer pressure, and other psychological and physical problems that children and youths face. McMaster MakeBelieve aims not just to provide children with 'skill-based lessons in the arts', but instead help them discover each art form as a medium for their own self-expression and emotional release.
