Opportunities for student feedback on Spark and Maroons

Each year, the Associate Vice-President (AVP) conducts reviews on various services provided by the MSU. Feedback surveys are a large part of the review process, as they help give a glimpse into the perception and impact of these services. This year, there are surveys open for feedback on MSU Spark and MSU Maroons. Students who have interacted with either service are encouraged to provide their perspective via the available surveys, accessible here. Those who fill out the survey will be entered for a chance to win one of two $25 gift cards from Union Market.

Martino Salciccioli, Associate Vice-PresidentServices, highlights the importance of gathering feedback on the services offered by the MSU.

“It is important to hear what students have to say about our services so that we can incorporate their thoughts into our annual reviews, and ultimately use that feedback to shape our services to meet students' needs,” says Salciccioli.

The Maroons are a unique service that aim to connect the undergraduate student population to the McMaster Students Union and the broader McMaster community. As representatives of the MSU, Maroons volunteers spread awareness of opportunities and resources for students to get involved with the various services within the MSU.

Spark offers programming geared towards first year students at McMaster, including formals, guidebooks, and weekly sessions with upper year students to aid with the transition into university. The sessions and activities promote individual growth and provide opportunities to make connections with McMaster students.
