Maccess support groups are back with new groups this semester. All support groups take place after-hours in the Maccess space (MUSC B111) and will operate on a drop-in basis. The weekly schedule for the support groups is as follows:

Maccess is open daily from 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM. As an MSU service, Maccess aims to build and maintain a campus that celebrates, advocates, and ensures inclusiveness in the area of disability. The programming and events are designed in an effort to establish a sense of community for those that self-identify as having disabilities or as disabled. Maccess also strives to advocate on the behalf of students in a proactive and affirmative fashion and provide educational programming relating to critical disability studies. Peer support is provided by trained volunteers with lived experiences with any of the following: disability, chronic illness, mental illness, madness, mental health concerns, neurodivergence, and additional identities.
