Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance Spring General Assembly Delegate Applications Open!

February 25, 2013 at 12:10 pm

The McMaster Students Union is an active member of the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA). OUSA collectively represents over 155,000 students across 10 member institutions in Ontario on pertinent Post Secondary Education Issues.

The Bi-Annual General Assembly of the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA) is the highest governing body of the organization. Decisions made at General Assembly are binding upon OUSA, and policies passed become representative of students across Ontario. Every year the MSU opens up an application process for several full time students to represent McMaster at this prestigious provincial conference.

For the Spring General Assembly to be held at Brock University between March 15th to 17th we are looking for two students to complete our delegation. Delegates will be participating in a three day conference that will shape the policy and advocacy priorities of OUSA over the next year. Specifically, the GA will also be passing policy papers on Public Private Partnerships, Student Employment and Online Education.

All students who are interested are encouraged to apply and prior experience is absolutely not a requirement; training will be provided. The MSU also covers all expenses related to the conference

The application forms and specific information is attached to this post. The deadline is Wednesday March 6th

Please contact Huzaifa Saeed at vped@msu.mcmaster.ca with any questions.
