Dodge! For a Good Cause

Come out and dodge in support of Free the Children!

On Saturday, March 9th, participate in the 5th annual MSU Charity Dodgeball Tournament in DBAC Sports Hall.  The tournament is an annual charity fundraising event, brought to you by the MSU in partnership with Athletics & Recreation’s Intramural department.

This year’s charity is Free the Children. Co-founded by Craig and Marc Kielburger, Free the Children is an award-winning international charity and educational partner. FTC works both domestically and internationally to empower and enable youth to be agents of change.

Now in its fifth year, the goal of Dodge! For a Good Cause brings students, staff and the University community together in a charitable initiative with a common goal - to make a difference and show our spirit.  Participants will also have the opportunity to meet several members of the Free the Children charity, who will also be sending a team.

Dodge! was born out of the overwhelming desire of MSU clubs to support charities through sporting initiatives.  It has continuously grown each year and because of this, the fundraising goal for this year has been set at $5,000.  Help us reach this goal through your team registrations, pledges and donations!

All those interested in taking part in this fun event are welcome to register a team of at least 7 individuals (minimum three females) at the DBAC Business Office by Thursday, March 7th.  A refundable $40.00 registration bond is required. At that point, you are free to start fundraising.  Teams are required to pledge a minimum of $70 ($10 per person).

All pledge forms must be submitted to the Clubs Administrator's Office by Friday March 8th @ 4:00pm.

Sponsorships and prize donations are welcome through email to the Assistant Clubs Administrator at
