Congratulations to the 2012/2013 MSU Teaching Award Winners

The MSU Teaching Awards aim to recognize and encourage excellence in teaching at McMaster University, by acknowledging the contributions and hard work of our Professors and Teaching Assistants. Honours include the Faculty Awards, Merit Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Pedagogical Innovation Awards and Teaching Assistant Merit Awards.
The MSU would like to congratulate the recipients of the 2012/2013 MSU Teaching Awards:

New this year, the MSU Teaching Awards recognized outstanding Teaching Assistants, as well as pedagogical innovation in the classroom.

The Teaching Awards Committee consists of volunteers and elected MSU and SRA members, who assist in the nomination process and planning of the ceremony at the end of the year. Nomination periods took place in both first and second semesters. Nearly 1000 nominations were made by undergraduate students in each semester. The committee compiled the nominations to discover trends from each faculty, then conducted interviews and class visits in the later stages of the Teaching Awards Process.
