If you're trying to put together a study group this exam period, you may find your biggest problem is finding a place to cram everyone. As study space is always at a premium during exams, the McMaster University Student Centre will help alleviate some of the pressure. MUSC conference rooms are available daily/nightly, on the second and third floor of the Student Centre. To reserve a place for your group, drop by the MUSC Admin office located on the second floor in room 222.
Exams bring stress and nothing relieves tension like puppies! Don't have a dog? Don't worry, the MSU’s Student Health Education Centre (SHEC) has you covered. Through SHEC, the SPCA of Hamilton will be bringing some furry friends to campus, so make sure to drop by and let them melt away your stress and anxiety. The therapy dogs will be on campus in Mills Library 113 from 1pm-2pm on April 15, 18, and 26.
Also from SHEC, relax your body, spirit and mind with meditation sessions, available April 17 and 24. The sessions will run from 1pm -2pm in MUSC 302. Give your sore muscles a break and clear your mind with the relaxing program. Be sure to come early and get a spot.
Don’t forget to eat regularly during exams too! Union Market will be open late during the exam period with coffee, tea and snacks to keep you going. Coffee is only $1.25 with a refillable mug! TwelvEighty will also be open during exams on the following hours:
- April 15th - April 19th 11am - 7pm
- April 22nd - April 26th 11am - 5pm
- April 29th - onward 11am - 3pm
Check out the variety of healthy, filling options available at TwelvEighty. And keep the tank full with unlimited refills on coffee and tea!
