MSU Audited Statements for fiscal year 2017-2018

In October 2018, the Student Representative Assem­bly received and subsequently passed the MSU’s 2017-2018 au­dited financial statements, as pre­pared by KPMG. The complete audited statements of the MSU can be viewed here. The 2017/2018 audit reflects an organization that remains in a healthy fiscal state.

Maccess launches weekly support groups

Maccess support groups for the year are beginning the week of November 12. The support groups will take place after-hours in the Maccess space (MUSC B111) and will operate on a drop-in basis. Each support group is run by peers with lived experience in the respective area. No kind of formal diagnosis or disclosure is required to attend a support group.

Walk with SWHAT during the November Walk-a-thon for SACHA

The MSU Student Walk Home Attendant Team (SWHAT) is proudly supporting SACHA during their biannual Walk-a-thon during the month of November. Students can support both SWHAT and SACHA by getting a walk from SWHAT volunteers this month, as one dollar will be donated to SACHA for every walk during November.

MSU Advocacy: Policy Conference registration open until November 9

The advocacy efforts of the MSU are a core pillar of the organization. The upcoming Fall Policy Conference is an excellent opportunity to help shape the policies and related advocacy of the MSU. The conference will take place on November 10 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in TwelvEighty. Registration is open until November 9.
