#MacVotes October 22 Municpal Election - Ward 1 Debate Oct 16 in MUSC

McMaster students represent a large and vital demographic in the city of Hamilton. The #MacVotes campaign helps inform students in advance of election day of the who, what, where and why of voting. 2018 McMaster University Budget Submission

The McMaster Students Union has made several recommendations to McMaster University as part of its annual budget process in the form of a university budget submission. To ensure that student priorities are included in the McMaster University Budget, the MSU outlined recommendations surrounding four key areas of investment, in addition to the reallocation of funding from two areas.

Food Collective Centre launches Good Food Box delivery program

Mac Farmstand hosts fourth annual Local Food Fest on September 26

On Wednesday, September 26, Mac Farmstand will host Local Food Fest in Mills Plaza from 12 - 3 PM. Local Food Fest is an outdoors event that celebrates the role of local food in the McMaster community. The event aims to foster a connection between students and community members with the surrounding local food system, while promoting the importance of eating local.

Student Activity Building groundbreaking and interior design survey

The Student Activity Building broke ceremonial ground on September 14, 2018. Constuction is slated to being in October. Student consultation regarding interior design elements is now underway.

McMaster offers new Personal Interest Course

Have you ever wanted to take a course, but you were worried it might negatively affect your GPA? The new McMaster Personal Interest Course (PIC), brought to you by the MSU’s advocacy work,  is designed to encourage students to chose an elective outside of their program and  explore an interest or try something new without affecting their cumulative GPA.
