2016 State of the Union will be delivered on January 14 @ 2pm in MUSC

On Thursday, January 14 at 2pm, the MSU Board of Directors will deliver the annual State of the Union address in the MUSC, in front of the fireplace. The State of the Union will include information on services’ accomplishments, comprehensive financial information, project details, lobbying efforts, and how the post-secondary landscape has changed over the last eight months. MSU Enters Partnership in Refugee Assistance Program

The McMaster Students Union and the Immigrants Working Centre are partnering with the goal of helping 20 Syrian refugee families come to Hamilton.  The program will benefit from student volunteers who can help in all manners of helping newcomers settle in city, inside Citizenship and Immigration Canada's community sponsorship model.

Proclamation of MSU Presidential Election and Referendum 2016

The MSU Elections Department is proud to announce the 2016 MSU Presidential Elections and Referendum. Presidential nominations open from December 1, 2015 at 12:00pm to January 15, 2016 at 5:00pm. All relevant forms can be found at (or in hard copy inside the MSU Main Office) and must be handed in to MUSC 201 before January 15 at 5:00pm.

Join the McMosters Team for Movember @ Mac

For the entire month of Movember, MSU Campus Events has a fantastic lineup of events in support of the Movember Foundation. Events planned throughout the month include paintball, a video game contest, a poker tournament, a movie night, a Dirty Bingo night featuring Spenny from Kenny vs. Spenny, and a performance from Arnprior-based folk musician Craig Cardiff.

Student opinions wanted at OUSA focus groups

The Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA) is a research-based, member-driven organization that represents about 140,000 undergraduate students at seven Ontario member universities. At this year's fall OUSA Genreal Assembly, three issues will be discussed: Student Financial Assistance, the Broader Learning Environment, and Teaching & Assessment. All MSU members are invited to a series of focus groups in order to give their feedback on the policy papers that will be submitted at OUSA General Assembly
