QSCC's MacPride Week November 2-6

Every year, the QSCC presents MacPride Week, an opportunity to celebrate and support gender and sexual minorities on campus. This year, MacPride Week will be held from November 2 to 6. Annual events, including the March, Rally, Keynote Address, and Drag Show, will return this year, as well as a variety of workshops and socials.

MSU's Audited Statements Affirm Surplus & Highlight Excellent Financial Practices

Every full-time undergraduate student contributes to the MSU through the $124.33 MSU organizational fee. The MSU has a responsibility to spend this fee wisely and effectively. The most recent audited statements of the organization, pursuant to fiscal year 2014/15, have once again affirmed the MSU’s exceptional financial regulations and practices.

Applications are open for the OUSA Fall General Assembly

The Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA) will be hosting its bi-annual General Assembly (GA) at the University of Waterloo from November 12 – 15, 2015. The MSU, as a member of OUSA, will be sending seven student delegates to this year's Fall GA. Any FT undergraduate student may apply to be an OUSA delegate.

#MacVotes - MSU Federal Election Awareness Campaign Underway

In addition to election day on October 19, there will be satellite polling locations on campus from October 5 to 8, as well as early polling locations from October 9 to 12.  Satellite polls will let anyone, from any riding vote in Celebration Hall. McMaster Students Thrilled with Provincial Announcement to Fund Hamilton Light Rail Transit

Premier Kathleen Wynne, along with Ministers McMeekin and Del Duca, made a historic announcement at McMaster today, pledging up to $1 billion to create a light rail transit (LRT) system in Hamilton.  The announcement was the culmination of years of advocacy efforts by many in the City of Hamilton, including the McMaster Students Union (MSU).
