2015/2016 Part-Time Manager Applications Now Open

The McMaster Students Union (MSU) is now accepting applications for all of its Part-Time Manager opportunities. Click the link to learn more about each position, as well as the qualifications and requirements for each role.
Please note that applications are due online by January 11, 2015 at 11:59PM. The terms of employment for most of the available PTM positions will be either May 1 or September 1, 2015 through April 2015. Please consult the specific job post for details.

Advocacy Coordinator: Helps in the on-campus coordination of all campaigns related to education and the undergraduate experience. Will also assist in raising the profile of advocacy initiatives within the MSU and the surrounding community including, but not limited to, municipal, provincial, and federal elections.
Chief Returning Officer (CRO): Responsible for the execution of all MSU elections and referenda, this includes: setting rules, advertising and promotion, supervision of ballot count, assessing penalties, and declaring winners.
Deputy Returning Officer (DRO): Responsible for promoting all elections/referenda, as well as the Elections department.
Diversity Services Director: Responsible for the creation and delivery of programming and awareness events to promote campus diversity. Will also serve as a resource to other staff members and campus partners with regards to diversity issues on campus.
Diversity Services Assistant Director: Responsible for recruiting and training volunteers and assisting the Director in the programming of awareness events to promote campus diversity.
Emergency First Response Team (EFRT) Director: Responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of all aspects of EFRT.
Horizons Coordinator: Responsible for planning, promoting, and running the Horizons Conference for incoming first year students, in conjunction with the Horizons Planning Team.
MACyle Director: Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of MACycle Co-op, as well as ensuring that the MACycle Co-op is run as a cooperative service.
MAC Bread Bin Director: Responsible for all aspects of the operation of MAC Bread Bin, including: distribution of food and other necessities to students in need of emergency assistance, food raising, fundraising, and educating McMaster students on the causes and consequences of student hunger and the options available to students in need.
Mac Farmstand Director: Responsible for executing all aspects of the Mac Farmstand.
MACgreen Coordinator: Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of MACgreen.
Maroons Coordinator: Responsible for ensuring the activities of the Maroons are executed, fostering an active and engaged community of reps, and promoting different aspects of the MSU and McMaster University as a whole.
Peer Support Line Coordinator: Responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of all administrative aspects of the Peer Support Line.
Queer Students Community Centre (QSCC) Coordinator: Responsible for overseeing the operation of the QSCC, its Executive, and its volunteers, as well as implementing new initiatives and serving as the chief advocate on behalf of the QSCC.
Shinerama & Terry Fox Campaign Coordinator: Responsible for planning, promoting, and executing the McMaster Shinerama and Terry Fox campaigns, including but not limited to summer fundraising events, Welcome Week Shinerama, and the Terry Fox Run.
Student Community Support Network (SCSN) Director: Responsible for managing all activities of SCSN as well as working towards building positive relations between students and the wider community.
Student Health Education Centre (SHEC) Coordinator: Responsible for overseeing all the operations of SHEC, its Executive, and its volunteers.
Student Walk Home Attendant Team (SWHAT) Coordinator: Responsible for all aspects of SWHAT, including: setting hours of operation, ensuring shifts are scheduled, promotions, and ensuring finances are in order.
Teaching Awards Committee (TAC) Coordinator: Responsible for recognizing and encouraging excellence in teaching at McMaster University through organizing and presenting MSU Teaching Awards to professors and teaching assistants on behalf of the MSU.
