McMaster Pangaea in MUSC on March 20

Pangaea is an annual one-day multicultural festival, the largest of its kind at McMaster University. Pangaea will take place on Sunday, March 20 inside the McMaster University Student Centre. Annual "Art Matters Week" runs March 7-11, 2016

The Humanities Caucus of the Student Representative Assembly (SRA) has teamed up with the McMaster Humanities Society (MHS) to organize the first annual "Art Matters Week," a campaign designed to celebrate the importance of the humanities across all professions and faculties. The campaign will run from Monday, March 7 to Friday, March 11, 2016 and feature a series of events across campus, culminating in Hamilton's James Street Art Crawl. McMaster Alumni has also partnered in an event dedicated to raising awareness of the impact of the arts.

Student Life Enhancement Fund (SLEF) Shortlist 2016

In 2015/2016, the Student Life Enhancement Fund generated more than 60 submissions to enhance student life. A shortlist of enhancement ideas has been prepared and is now available for preferential voting by McMaster students.  Visit http://enhance.mcmaster.ca to view the shortlist and vote.

Nominations open for The President’s Award of Excellence

McMaster University invites nominations for The President’s Award of Excellence (Student Leadership) 2016. The President’s Award of Excellence recognizes students who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in the McMaster student body. Nominations are open to full-time undergraduate students who are in their graduating year.

MSU Submits McMaster Budget Report & Recommendations to University Administration

The MSU Board of Directors has submitted a report to McMaster University’s budget committee. The submission contains recommendations for the 2016-2017 university budget that are intended to better reflect student priorities in three key areas, as well as continued advocacy for an increase in student space.
