Applications are open until January 26 for the OUSA Spring General Assembly

The Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA) will host its bi-annual General Assembly (GA) at Western University from March 12 – 15, 2020. As a member of OUSA, the MSU will be sending a delegation to the upcoming Spring General Assembly. Applications to be an OUSA delegate are welcome from any member of the undergraduate student body taking 18 units or more. All perspectives are welcome and no previous experience with advocacy or student politics is required to apply.

The MSU’s budget submission to the City of Hamilton prioritizes transit, accessibility, and sustainability

Advocacy at municipal, provincial, and federal levels is a key component of the McMaster Students Union. At a municipal level, the MSU education team creates budget submissions to help ensure student needs are reflected in the City of Hamilton’s budget. This year, the priorities are transit, accessibility, sustainability, and the Environmental By-Law.

#MacVotes: Advanced voting on campus October 5 - 9 in Celebration Hall (KTH B116)

The MSU MacVotes campaign includes a series of events throughout October to help inform students about voting in the upcoming federal election. Students that are Canadian citizens and at least 18 on October 21 may vote. From October 5 to 9, there will be an advance voting booth on campus at which students may vote in any riding across Canada.

MSU General Assembly on March 20 in Burridge Gym

This year, the annual MSU General Assembly (GA) will be held on March 20 in Burridge Gym from 4 - 7 PM. Registration will open at 3:15 PM in the mezzanine above the gym, with entry via the IWC hallway. MSU members are welcome to attend with their student card.
