MacVotes 2014: Recapping the Municipal Elections

In order to enage students in Hamilton during the 2014 municipal elections the MSU relaunched its MacVotes campaign. The response was incredible, as students and community members raised their voices & shared their thoughts & opinions with Mayoral & Ward One Councillor candidates. MacVotes: Engaging Students in the Municipal Election

OUSA General Assembly Delegate Applications Open!

The MSU, as a member of OUSA, will be sending eight student delegates to Fall General Assembly in Waterloo, where discussions of additions and changes to official OUSA policy will take place. If you want to improve post-secondary education for McMaster students, or are interested government relations and/or politics, you are encouraged to apply to be an MSU delegate to OUSA GA.

Dollar Daze Week: Planning for Financial Success

In order to help spread awareness about the importance of financial literacy and the relatively easy strategies students can use to be money smart, the MSU, Spectrum and the Student Success Centre are excited to be bringing your Dollar Daze Week.

Fall Valedictorian Nominations Are Open Until Sept. 29

Fall nominations for Valedictorian are now open! Valedictorians will demonstrate high academic achievement, leadership and communication skills, amongst other criteria.  Applications are due to by 4:00pm on September 29, 2014 to the School of Graduate Studies (Gilmour Hall 212).
