HSR representatives visit campus to answer questions about PRESTO U-Passes and Hamilton transit

September 6, 2017 at 15:46 pm

Representatives from the Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) will be in the McMaster University Student Centre (MUSC) the week of September 5-8 from 10 AM to 3 PM near Compass Information Centre, engaging with students and acting as a resource for transit-related information. The HSR is Hamilton’s city bus system. Through the MSU, all undergraduate students receive an unlimited PRESTO U-Pass for the HSR, allowing students to travel to and from campus, and explore the city of Hamilton.

HSR representatives are available to answer questions, provide information, distribute route schedules, and assist students in registering their PRESTO U-Pass card online. Registering online allows students to access online functionality of their cards – such as adding funds for GO transit – and will be helpful in recovering access to transit in the case of a lost or damaged card.

Students who have not yet picked up their new PRESTO U-Pass may do so at the Campus Store.
