Applications for part-time managers roles close January 13, 2019

The MSU has begun the next search for student leaders to oversee the operations of seven distinct services. Since applications close January 13, 2019 at 11:59PM, students can apply over the winter break for the positions. Part-time managers (PTMs) will be hired to oversee the following services for the next academic year, with a start date of May 1, 2019: EFRT Director, Chief Returning Officer, Maccess Coordinator, Macademics Coordinator, and Food Collective Centre Coordinator

"Part-time manager positions are a fantastic opportunity to widen your experiences and strengthen your skills as a leader, in addition to being a great way to meet individuals who share similar interests and passions,” says Epifano. “While each role serves different purposes and communities, they are all avenues one can use to make a difference in the McMaster community.”

No previous work or volunteer experience within the MSU is necessary to be considered for a part-time manager role - all types of experiences are welcomed. There are a variety of resources available on the MSU website to assist with the application process, including information on writing a cover letter, crafting a résumé, and how to prepare for an interview.
