The MSU is Hiring for the Education Department!

The MSU is hiring an Advocacy Coordinator and three Advocacy & Policy Research Assistants to work with the Vice-President (Education) and the Education Department to conduct research into important policy stances and run advocacy campaigns on campus.

As the head of the Education Department, Shemar Hackett (Vice-President, Education) oversees these four positions and emphasizes their importance within the Education Department.

“The Advocacy & Policy Research Assistants are integral to our policy development within the MSU,” says Hackett. “Research Assistants write policy, meet with university stakeholders and work with the VP (Education) to advocate on behalf of students. [The Advocacy Coordinator] coordinates our educational campaigns on campus and works with the VP (Education) to promote our advocacy initiatives throughout the year.”
