New Landlord Rating System has officially launched

The Landlord Rating System was recently launched for McMaster students. The system is a website where students can write about their opinion of their landlord, provide reviews of their student house, and discuss their experience living in a specific neighbourhood.

Financial transparency fair: March 21 and 22

In collaboration with the MSU Finance Committee, Scott Robinson, Vice President (Finance) is hosting drop-in events to engage students and facilitate conversations about how the MSU spends its money. The financial transparency fair will take place Thursday, March 21 in MUSC in front of Starbucks from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM and in the MUSC Atrium Friday, March 22 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Registration for new clubs is open until March 24

New club registration is open until Sunday, March 24. Starting a new MSU club involves a formal application, an interview with the MSU Clubs Administrator, and ratification by the MSU Student Representative Assembly (SRA). More details on the ratification process can be found here.

Exceptional student leaders celebrated during Student Recognition Night

The McMaster Students Union and McMaster University came together to celebrate and honour student leadership at the 39th annual Student Recognition Night on March 14 at LIUNA Station. The 2019 MSU Awards were presented to several students, student groups, and other leaders on campus in recognition of their passion and dedication towards improve the experiences of McMaster undergraduates.

Walk with SWHAT during the Walk-a-thon this March for Neighbour to Neighbour

The MSU Student Walk Home Attendant Team (SWHAT) is excited to be supporting Neighbour to Neighbour Centre for their Walk-a-thon this March. Students can support SWHAT and Neighbour to Neighbour by getting a walk from SWHAT volunteers this March, as one dollar will be donated for every walk throughout the month.
