Come celebrate teaching excellence at the MSU Teaching Awards Ceremony

This year, MSU Macademics is hosting the MSU Teaching Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, March 21st at 6-8 pm in Council Chambers (Gilmour Hall 111). All students are welcome to attend andcelebrate the incredible educators that have been nominated for their engaging teaching practices. There will be complimentary food for attendees at the event.

Electoral Appeal Board overturns disqualifications - Ikram Farah is president-elect of the McMaster Students Union

The Electoral Appeal Board met to discuss the appeal of two Elections Committee decisions: the disqualification of Rabeena Obaidullah and the disqualification of Ikram Farah from the 2018 MSU Presidential Election. Both candidates have been reinstated.

MACycle is now open for the spring season

MSU MACycle is now open for the season. MACycle is a do-it-yourself bike repair shop located on campus that aims to equip students with the tools, parts and technical assistance required in order to get their bicycles in riding condition again. The spring hours are Wednesday from 1:30pm - 7:30pm, Thursday from 1:30pm - 7:30pm, and Friday from 2:30pm - 5:30pm.

Learn about MSU EFRT during their public relation week from March 12-16

The MSU Emergency First Response Team (EFRT) is hosting their public relation week from Monday, March 12 to Friday, March 16. Each day, the team will be set up outside their office (MUSC 103) in order to talk to students about topics related to EFRT.

Walk with SWHAT during the Walkathon this March for Hamilton Food Share

The MSU Student Walk Home Attendant Team (SWHAT) is excited to be supporting Hamilton Food Share for their Walk-a-thon this March. Students can support SWHAT and Hamilton Food Share by getting a walk from SWHAT volunteers all through the month of March. One dollar will be donated for every walk throughout the month.

Experience Pangaea - McMaster’s largest multicultural showcase

On March 11th, McMaster’s largest annual multicultural showcase, Pangaea, is taking place from 11am-5pm at the McMaster Innovation Park. General Admission tickets for Pangaea 2018 are $10, and provide full access to all pavilions and performances.
