Student Wellness Centre

The Student Wellness Centre is available to McMaster students looking for professional health services. Services offered include:

  • Medical services/doctor appointments
  • Personal counselling
  • Group counselling
  • Education and resources

To book a medical appointment, visit the SWC in MUSC B101 (basement of the student centre) or call 905-525-9140 ext. 27700

To access personal counselling, drop in to the SWC weekdays between 10:30am-12pm and 1:30pm-3:30pm for a short Consultation Appointment. 

 

Student Assistance Program

Psychological counseling services are offered by phone to a 24/7 year-round toll free call-centre. The calls are answered by master’s level counselors, of which there are speakers of 180 different languages and dialects. Counseling is also offered over the Internet and through the iAspiria app.

Academic-life services include legal consultation, financial consultation, life coaching, nutrition consultation and wellness resources, such as parenting and everyday life.

Youth Wellness Centre

The Youth Wellness Centre provides mental health care by appointment including counselling, support, and navigation services for young people aged 17 to 25. This service is covered by OHIP and confidential.
